Inquiries

Hello.

I currently have the following credit scores: Exp 766, EQ 784 and TU 760.  I have only 4 credit inquiries for the past year.  I was just curious if anyone knows how many inquiries/credit card applications I could have before I would I would be turned down for having too many.

Credit scores arent enough. Thick files with lots of history can absorb more inquiries than thin files. So, for one person, 4 can be too many. Someone else could have 20

It is going to depend on the lender as well, but in general, you're no where near the amount where it should be an issue with most lenders.

Credit card churners apply for 5-6 cards every 3 months.  Some people push that even further.  If your reports are clean, inquiries aren't nearly as big of a deal.
