I am needing to buy some new furniture. My credit score is around 620-650. I want to apply to rooms to go. I was wondering if it is the same applying online or do I have a better chance with getting an approval in the store? Thanks!
sometimes applying in the store does yeild a better result. but im not sure with that card, i believe its a TD bank card? and my only experience with them is a 300 dollar target limit.
what are u looking to buy? there are dozens of comenity backed furniture stores online that have the Shopping cart trick. your scores are kind of low for a cold app on the rooms to go, but i dont have experience with them so i could be wrong.
I would get your current Fico 8 scores for each bureau, let us know where you live and what furniture store options you have and who finances for those stores, and give us a rundown of the accounts, limits, balances, negatives, and current utilization.
Then we can help you decide what your best options are at this time.
If it's Synchrony I would app in store. With a purchase in hand I find lenders are more lenient.
last time i appl in the store for target i was approved for 2000, my wife online 1000. we both had the same credit score at that time.

Method of applying does not change your credit or income, so no.

While you might conclude that the method of applying made all the difference it's never just about score. You entire credit profile matters and there were differences in your credit profiles.
