Sorry if this has been answered before but, I was recently approved for a Citi TY Premier and was wondering if it would be possible to PC it to a DoubleCash after 12 months? I already have a DoubleCash, but the limit is rather unusable for my needs. Is it possible to have two DoubleCashes? Some CCC such as Barclays and US Bank allow duplicate products which is why I'm curious. Thanks

I have seen on occasion where someone has 2. with a pc. i just don't know why since there is no cap on the card. would just be wiser to transfer the limit over the card you want to keep. guessing the oldest of the 2.

Main reason I want two is because then both could grow with the 6 month SP CLI policy Citi has. Even if I combine both, there would be times where I would potentially run into the credit line limit and have to pay multiple times a month. I took 3 HPs (2 for approval and 1 for failed HP CLI) for the first card and 1 or 2 HPs for the Premier so I would rather capatilize on both as much as possisble.
Maybe you might end up liking the premier or did you just get it for the 60k bonus?
I believe it is certainly possible to have two DC cards. When I called in to PC my Citi AA Platinum Select, the representative saw it as an option for me and actually kept pushing it despite me telling her that I already have one. Whether or not the system would've rejected it, I have no idea. Regardless, I don't think I have heard of Citi disallowing multiples of the same product. Also, I think I saw a signature recently where someone had two DC cards.

Yes, it is
I thought I saw someone who had two DC in their signature as well, but I couldn't remember who it was. Hopefully mine PC will go through when I ask for it. Thank you for the helpful information!

I absolutely love the design, but I just don't spend nearly enough in the bonus categories to justify the annual fee. I did get it for the 60k bonus and for the possibility of it remaining a WEMC after it's converted to a DC
