So, the people who saw my first post here know that when I first applied for the Chase Amazon Prime Visa I got a message that they will let me know within 30 days despite a 792 Fico score. But a HP was done at the time of the original app with EX.
Then they send me a letter to verify stuff and after calling I was approved but on that day they pulled credit again and again from EX.
Is this normal or should I try to get one of those removed?
I guess what bothers me about it is that it looks I applied for two of their credit cards.
Do you have a fraud alert on the account? This happened to me, too, but they had to verify info because I had a fraud alert - and I got double pulled.

The lady said nothing about that but I was told I made a mistake with my SS# on the app and had to confirm my correct one. Which I found odd since they pulled my credit and I thought they need the full SS# for that.
I forgot to unclock my reports and got a 7-10 letter msg; then after realizing what happened I called for manual review, and got 1 pull from EX and 1 from EQ. So my guess is that if you didn't get an instant approval an UW will pull again when reviewing your profile.
Chase will pull just about anytime someone new looks at your app. If you want to recon your SL, they're gonna pull at least one more time
OP - if you search a variety of past Chase threads (approvals or declined applications) there's a pretty decent percentage of folks reporting double-pulls, often times 2 separate CRAs. If the same CRA was pulled 2x, it may be related to mismatched CRA data that was erroneously input during the application, a full report being inaccessible due to split files, fraud instances, etc.
IIRC, the error that caused some issues with your initial Chase Amazon card wasn't due to a Chase error, but rather your input of an incorrect SS#. So, you can contact Chase to see if they can recode the 1st one, but it's doubtful since this wasn't their error.

Ok, that is fine. Was just wondering
