+1 lol I am the King Manipulator, but I can't even do that. xD Only Jesus of the credit world can do that hahahhaa. I have done some sneaky things in my credit life, to obtain money from lenders, but never have I ever tried to scheme to get money back claimed from the lenders, from me not paying them what they let me borrow in enough time, to the point they had to charge me a fee that they said they would if I let it get to that point/spent so much, that I knew I couldn't afford it back in time before that fee (APR) kicked in. haha This made my day.
In all seriousness though print out your statements and if you have any OD fee's $10, or w.e. from chase, you can use this (as they are very generous and don't mind giving this back to you even though you probably let it happen):
Call them up and act very confused. Tell them you don't know why that happen and why you were charged these fee's. Tell them how valuable of a customer you have been, and how you really didn't have any right communication from them stating when those charges took place, say that the number on file was not right so everytime it happened, you didn't know, and since you were just making payments on the account you never really seen the transactions so you didn't know these transactions (fees) were taking place. If your succesful in your attempt like I was they will remove most of those and maybe that might knock off some or most of the interest you owe. (They rewarded me with $90 back for the whole year in ODP fee's). But YMMV as I spent over 18,000 on my Freedom, and paid back in full every month. Also this was not considered interest lol, so Idk goodluck though #VeryInteresting.
There is nothing wrong with the OPs question. It is just that, a question.

Well, if you're in that weird bubble I was in, AmEx actually refunded me all of the interests I've paid over the years as a courtesy under the SCRA when I applied as being active duty in the military. I don't know about Chase though. I use my CSP for pretty much everything but they hardly look like the bunch to give money away.
