It is OK. I don't have much faith in CapitalOne. That limit isn't the greatest, but if your credit profile is good, I suppose they will bump that up within a few months. but, the ONE that really sticks out is the Credit union $10k card. That should be your bread and butter for the most part. Every big bill you pay, should be going thru that card. Making sure you PIF each month.
The point of PIF is not to show potential creditors that look @ your CR that you can pay, it is to show the Bank that you're worthy of more credit. Ask for a CLI in 6 months.
Once 6 months are up, I'd definitely bump up the cards and add an AMEX, Discover or a Chase, to straighten your portfolio. If CapOne stays stagnant, it will be useless to you.
Is the Nordstrom the store card or the Visa? If it is the store (or Visa), You should play a game with them for 6 months. Put $100 (20%) in purchases thru it over that time frame (PIF with each article of clothing purchase) and see what kind of increase you can get within 6 months. If nothing, dump it!
What is your credit history like?
What are your credit scores? Get the $4.95 deal from Experian, they'll give you all 3-Fico 08 scores.
it isnt the visa card from Nordstrom. I was hoping to go Discover Card what do they pull?

they still give you SP credit line increases every six months or so if you ask for one Wells Fargo too, but their card is not as good
I never HP for my Credit Line increases not even once for these cards since approval, so I recommend all my credit newbie friends

A car loan is an installment loan so as long it's open, you're good there.
