No they did not give me CLI. I started with $200 in November 2007 and I am still at $200 now.

Re: Is time for Target Card to go?

I haven't received one either. I tried revolving small balances on this card so they could make a little interest and everything.

And now I no longer have a need for an upgrade to Target Visa, so I think it's getting the axe.

CLI or NO CLI, no one is getting interest from me on any card. Always PIF. Like it or now that is how my accounts are going to be. If they dont like it, it is too bad.

How long it took for you? What is the interest on the visa card?

Re: Is time for Target Card to go?

I have had the card for 5 years total.  I got the visa upgrade in August and the auto CLI last month.  The rate is 19.99%, which is why its at a zero balance.

It is a pain to carry extra card in the pocket every time you goto store. It is just easy to use any of ther other cards I have when I goto Target instead of trying to remember to carry the card before I go to store.

Re: Is time for Target Card to go?

I hear ya.  If you dont need it, dump it.  The only reason I held onto it as long as I did is because I was rebuilding my credit.
