BAD IDEA...
My friend kept going over his CL every month paying the $30 late fee hoping his lender would raise his CL. They said no CLI because he kept going over his limit. Ended up paying over 6 months $180 in late fees and no CLI. He admitted the plan backfired.
MIGHT WORK?
Has anyone gotten a CLI by nearly Maxing out and PIF repeatedly... Just wondering if this works? Not sure if a lender has a set limit for each person or if spending could get you further.... (Not to go out on a spending spree, but pay every bill with a CC rather than a check, ect.)
Take it from a CC CSR. If you can't manage your credit card enough to avoid ol fees what makes you think the CCC would raise your limit? Did your friend also casue a higher APR because of the fees? CC's like people who have good credit. People who manage their credit don't go over limit.
Wait...they like your friend.. $180 late fees? nice dividend return for someone who keeps paying...
