I received that email as well. My limit is only 1500; I have had the card for a year and rarely use it. But it's a welcoming upgrade, especially since it didn't cost a hard inquiry or a new application. After seeing the email, I put in for a limit increase, and I got bumped to 2.5k with no inquiry (my credit is frozen).
Congratulations on your Kohl's upgrade! Did you also get a CLI with the upgrade or did you keep the same limit as your store card?
Congrats to you for your Kohl's Rewards Visa upgrade!
Capital One and Kohl's announced this plan in March last year to introduce this co-branded card this spring.
You are probably in the first wave of invitees!
Congrats again!
"The news: Kohl’s and Capital One extended their private-label card partnership and plan to pilot a co-branded credit card in 2023, per a press release.
Here’s how it works: The Kohl’s Card has zero fees and will let Kohl’s Rewards customers earn an additional 2.5% on top of their 5% rewards. New cardholders also get 35% off their first Kohl’s purchase within 14 days of account opening."
I got the same email. My credit limit is at their max limit of $3,000. I wonder if with the ugprade, they're going to increase the limit as well? My email said it's a visa signature, and Capital One has a minimum credit limit of $5,000 for their signatures. Unless the rules are different for their store co-branded cards? I also got my upgrade offer in the mail today...but it didn't say anything about my limit.
Congrats on getting upgraded!!!
I received in todays mail a big envelope with the new kohls/cap 1 visa terms and conditions. The rewards redemption structure wasnt mentioned except to state at a later date it will be explained
I did notice the new interest rate is 30.24 pct, YIKES.
Also it mentions bt's and cash advances but doesnt go into to much detail, a lot of legal mumbo jumbo and this or that might be available with the new card.
Congrats on your upgrade.
Congrats on the upgrade! IMHO, the Visa makes the card a bit more desireable.

Still at the ceiling of $3,000, at least for now.
When the new card arrives, and things move over, I might take a swing at requesting a CLI if there's no movement.
Congrats!!! I got my email several days back. My Kohls card had a limit of $5k but I think that was because there was a time frame where the max was $5k. I will take the Visa because it never hurts to have an extra Visa or MC, even it it is with a limit of $5k.
