So, what do you plan on doing with the card? Leave the limit as is or get it restored?

I'm surprised it lasted this long without closure! One of mine got a CLD (during 2020) and then eventually closed for inactivity. For sure I was thinking you'd be using your Rakuten CC a bit more.

As I am not collecting MRs with it, it's just cashback, and I put all my 3% stuff on USAlliance.   When (or if) that ends, I guess I would use this more if Rakuten offers the best discounts (for me it usually doesn't).

I am also looking at my Paypal which hasn't been getting much use since they added the FTF.   Probably worth preserving (I have a $25K limit) so I might put some more spend on that.

Ouch!

I better start putting some spend on my Synch cards.

@Anonymous - The xx24 is indicative of a non-activity CLD.  You can reach out to the Credit Solutions team to see about having it restored -- if you wish to have the original limit and/or will be using the card more frequently.  Otherwise, it sounds like you did not miss much since it wasn't a fairly active card since 2020 🤷‍♂️

Interesting. When I prequal for lowes the limit ends in 24. I wonder if they just think I wouldn't use it.

Credit Karma alerted me of a CLD on Rakuten card, from $15K to $5024.  My last payment was Oct 2020.   So looking for a good title for a post: "Beware the evil Satanic scum of Sync"?   Or is that too mild?

I think title is okay, it passed but you forgot "They are the worst. I'm a good customer, so I'm taking  my business I never gave them somewhere else. That will show them!!!"

Completely off topic, but does anyone else gets ear-wormed with "🎶 Rocket man 🎶" whenever they read/hear Rakuten

That's my reason for hating on Synch

I'm still mighty salty at Rakuten for killing off FatWallet.
