@RickNATL It was actually BCU (Baxster Credit Union). Just remembered. Found it strange and been with them over a year and have one CC with them. Was it an account review? Maybe it was for a job but certainly strange.
@CreditCuriosity definitely don't have any accounts with them, nor applied for a job. Their LI profile is also vague...

NASA FCU accessed my LinkedIn profile...first time seeing this.
I had read a thread or three somewhere with in the past year about how the X1 card issuer was stalking it's users on social media and I think I remember LinkedIn being mentioned as well. I believe it was reddit, but no amount of keyword searching is bringing it up.
@Anonymous I'm going to see what I can find.
This article from 2015 is interesting...

@Windchill92 you can definitely cut down what a non-connection can see; under Settings, then "visibility"...including what can be searched or seen via a search (google, etc.) to include show/no show your photo, current or past experience, degrees, etc.
@Windchill92 I had not looked into that.
So there is a belief that linkedin profiles are a trusted source? Probably not for the real bad actors!
