Re: Lowest apr cards?

WOW 3.25% that is amazing! I notice that they have them listed with a fixed rated cards. Does that mean that the green ones are variabled?

Re: Lowest apr cards?

Yes. I would also like to add that Unify (formerly Western) as a variable rate as low as 4.99%. Website states 5.24%

I'm very unfamiliar with varied APR cards. I believe that all of my cards have a fixed rate but man, that 3.25% apr does sound very appealing!!!!!!!

Re: Lowest apr cards?

Variable rate cards can increase when the prime rate does. The last increase was .25%. Fixed rate cards are just that. They usually do not increase.

Keep in mind that those CUs may have membership restrictions. Themanwhocan just made the chart listing all low apr cards. Apple, Lake Michigan and Unify/Western are open to everyone. You would have to double check membership eligibility for any others you may be interested in.

Re: Lowest apr cards?

One card that may not be on the list provided above IIRC is the PACU Premier Rewards Privileges MC, which has a fixed-rate APR as low as 7.5% F.  [ETA:  EX FICO Score 8 of 730 or higher is needed to qualify for the lowest rate of 7.5%.] Also has some nice features like 1.5x rewards points/$1 spent, 10,000 intro bonus points promo, and some great additional benefits that can usually only be found on WEMC cards, such as trip cancellation/delay insurance, lost/delayed luggage insurance, and others.

ETA:  PACU is open to everyone, all you need to do is join Alliance for the Arts to gain membership, and which is included as part of the card application process if you apply by phone.
