Anyone know what the merchant category codes for Xbox, Playstation, and Steam are?
Edit: Just to add on for any more replys. Anything related to games would help for Category 2. It's a promotion so I only need a single transaction within each category between now and next 12 days.

steam
Visa/MC - VIDEO GAME ARCADES/ESTABLISHMENTS, sometimes also code as Merchandise - DIGITAL GOODS- GAMES. Citi doesn't qualify these as entertainment for extra rewards.
Amex - Merchandise & Supplies - Internet Purchase
Someone posted this card a few months ago and I wish you could get it in NA, it is 5% off most video game purchases:

I think the best you can do is 3% on video games with Marvel card which was never enough to make it worth it for me. Or there is the Playstation card, but I buy from Steam alot so that doesn't help much.
Just saw the update, OP.

If you have the prime visa, you can get steam/playstation cards on Amazon with 5% back. You can also do it at grocery stores if you have a card with good rewards there (e.g. BCP). I wouldn't do it all the time, but $50 a few times a year never seems to raise any eyebrows for me.

RIght, but it looks like OP needs it for a one off, and has to make a purchase in that MCC, so gift cards are out.
Just for clarification, it's a bonus on a MoneyLion account. I don't know if anybody here has ever posted about it. I think gift cards should be okay since this is for a debit card. I just get a free $25 gift card if I complete everything.

I just meant buying a game gift card at a grocery store wouldn't give you the gaming MCC you need (you would get a grocery one instead).
And.... $25? Are you sure that you won't be doing unnecessary extra spend just to get this. The list includes a particular charitable donation for example. Would you be giving to that outside of the promotion?
