Just got notice my Marvel card CL has been decreased from 5K to a little over 1K........should I just close the card or keep it and try to rebuild the CL. I have used it sparingly over the past 6-8 mos

Need more data point. If you still use it, then just keep it. I assume there is no AF.
I guess my question is.......do my other creditors see a CLD as "bad"

No, no one cares really as long as you pay your bills. And do not burn the banks....
@ecxpa wrote:I guess my question is.......do my other creditors see a CLD as "bad"
No, other banks are unlikely to see the CLD as bad. More importantly, closing the card won't "hide" the CLD from view. It will still be on your reports for the next 10 years.
However, the important question is WHY did they CLD you? If they saw underlying probems in your credit report, then other creditors will see those same issues as well.

not aware of any problems, no baddies in 3+ years, util now 1-2%, income good, EQ 754, TU 774, Ex769 on MYFICO..........hope Synchrony doesn't start acting like Comenity does from time to time and start closing cards. I have Ebates, PayPal, Sams Club, Lowes, and Amazon along with a couple of store cards with them.......only thing I could figure is low usage.

That's a lot of cards with one creditor. What was your overall limit with them prior to the CLDs?
If it were me I would double-check my TU to make sure something hadn't just recently showed up... in the past that's often the case when Synch does a CLD. Speaking from personal experience, my own Synchrony CLD years ago was also the result of 'additions' to my TU (I had never been late with Synch).
Of course things could simply be changing with Synch... that happens, too. It might just be a exposure issue.
Best of luck in either case.
