Re: Marvel CL decrease

Ummmmm

When you received "notice", was it a letter or email? Or did you just happen to look at your account online?

I guess my question is.......do my other creditors see a CLD as "bad"

No, other banks are unlikely to see the CLD as bad.  More importantly, closing the card won't "hide" the CLD from view.  It will still be on your reports for the next 10 years.

However, the important question is WHY did they CLD you?  If they saw underlying probems in your credit report, then other creditors will see those same issues as well.

not aware of any problems, no baddies in 3+ years, util now 1-2%, income good, EQ 754, TU 774, Ex769 on MYFICO..........hope Synchrony doesn't start acting like Comenity does from time to time and start closing cards.   I have Ebates, PayPal, Sams Club, Lowes, and Amazon  along with a couple of store cards with them.......only thing I could figure is low usage.

THIS...or inactivity.

Strange events. Synchrony can be strange though. Good luck. Smiley Happy
