Mini spree

So, the house fell through. Now we area concentrating on cards and vehicles. Refinanced both vehicles at USAA for 3pts lower than their previous apr. Just apped and approved for Walmart. Oriiginally $150, reconned for $300 (all I wanted and didn't wanna push my luck Smiley Happy ). Want to ditch our credit one...so what else is a good option?

no baddies in 3yrs. My scores are ex 651 (lender), tu 654 and eq 628. Husband is tu 654, ex 646 and eq 640. Current util is about 2%.

will be trying the house thing again in 6-12 months.

Re: Mini spree

Was there a specific reason why your escrow fell through? You might want to avoid opening new lines if you're in the process of getting a house now or in the near future. Just my two cents.

Re: Mini spree

Husband took a new job...from salary to hourly, but with lots of overtime so it comes out to more pay per period. And it failed pest inspection Smiley Sad

Ah I see. Mortgage lenders do like to see steady work history with same company years plus. I had a hell of a time when I got my house. I was in escrow for nearly 6 months! Did not have a fun experience with a short sale...

Re: Mini spree

Are you getting your mortgage through USAA or a credit card? Both are near possibilities!

why dont you call Walmart for credit increase ? call their underwriter department maybe they give you high limit and stay away from Credit One......You wouldnt gain anything but end up paying fees fees and fees....they charge purchase interest and all kind of interest from day 1 and if you make a payment ...take about 2 week for the funds to available to your account....Im highly not recomend Credit One. Maybe stop apps for something and building for your Morgate ...thats the most important.....

Re: Mini spree

Credit one is getting the axe! Hubby got $800 CL at Walmart. Are cap 1 rewards decent? I'm thinking that's the last one.
