More progress.... :)

As some of you may remember, last year I opened a small signature loan at my local CU...interest was kind of high, but lesser than the credit cards that I paid off with it.

13 months of larger than minimum payments later, I called them this morning to discuss a larger personal loan with the same goal in mind... (paying off credit cards with higher interest rates...)

Approved.  Three times the amount..........2/3's the interest!

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!

I think chains will be in order after this one Lol

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: More progress.... :)

lol!  OK, so I'm having a rough time staying in the garden...but isn't the whole point of gardening to achieve better credit scores/more attractive borrowing rates and abilities?

14.99 percent unsecured....that's lower than several of my CC's...
