I have a 2k personal spg card. I'm going to close it. Is it possible to move this credit line over to my everyday card? How much would I have to leave behind on SPG card if anything?

Donor card has to be 13 months old and have had no activity on it for 30 days. You don't have to leave anything on the SPG

Well I guess I am screwed then. It has activity on it from this cycle.

Well you might want to verify that part. I'm sure of the 13 months but the activity part might have some flexibility in it

The activity is a chase thing. The 13 months is a card act thing concerning fees? I'd call and see what they say. If you're a customer under 12 months you pretty much don't get your way unless you give them unreal spend, moving 2k to and fro isn't unreal spend.
Got the card last june so over 12 months. Don't know what 2k has to do with unreal spend, since that is the credit limit and has nothing to do with the amount spent with amex. I'll PIF and call in.
