Around 6 months ago I had my Cap1 Platinum upgraded to a Quicksilver. The odd thing is I already had one. At the time I asked to close one and move credit over and was told they are not currently doing that .
Has anyone else been in this situation and had better luck?
At the present time Capital One is not performing credit reallocations which includes merging credit cards. Supposedly they're going to reintroduce the feature but no timetable - if true that is - on when that is going to happen

Several years ago I was in the same situation and had the same luck - that is why I have 2 QS's now
I have the same situation.
Same here. No timeframe on when account combinations will return.
Can you product change from QS to the Savor or Venture card?
I asked at the time and was told no
I have the same issue- 2 QS cards. I contacted Capital One to inquire about doing a product change, the rep said they don't allow pc to savor or savor one, but are looking into doing this in the future. He sent me the upgrade link, and neither accounts qualified for the upgrade. I assume it is possible to upgrade to venture, since he didn't mention it in the response? Annoyed, so I gave up on it for a while. I am going to look into a way to merge the rewards at some point. Seems like there must be something they can do, since you can only have 2 regular cap one cards. Seems silly to have two of the same card.
Cap one has been bizaare when it comes to PC's for a while now... Only certain cards can PC to certain other cards. Savor can't PC to Savor One, but I believe it can PC to QS, Venture and Venture One. I know there's a similar situation PCing Venture to anything else. Same for moving limits around. Back in the day, people were creating $60K CL's on Venture and QS by combining a bunch of accounts. No more though.
Cap One saying they're going to do something in the future could mean something 3 generations from now... Don't hold your breath.
