NFCU Members' STARTING CLs

I'll be joining NFCU soon (really excited!) and was curious:

1. What CC did you pick?
2. What was starting CL?
3. What CR was pulled for the CL and what was your score? Any negatives on your CR?

Trying to determine which I should get. Thanks!!

Re: NFCU Members' STARTING CLs

1. What CC did you pick?

Platinum. I don't use rewards much and I often carry a balance, so I wanted a lower APR. Might get Rewards once DW gets her own.

2. What was starting CL?

18k

3. What CR was pulled for the CL and what was your score? Any negatives on your CR?

The CC was EQ, but the membership app to NFCU was TU. Score at the time for EQ I believe was around 650. I need to update my sig again when I pull everything this month. I have one CO across all 3 CRA's and 4 late pays (2-30's and 2-60's from early 2010, so older than 2 years).

Happy apping.

Re-entered the garden on 9/16/2013.

Starting Score: (TU) 517 (EQ) 469 (EX) 519 (6/1/2010)
Current Score: (TU98) 714 (TU04) 712 (EQ Beacon 5.0) 672 (EX -FICO v2) 724 (6/13/13)
Goal Score: 700 Club for all 3 (2 out of 3 so far)

Re: NFCU Members' STARTING CLs

Oh, just to add something quick....NFCU does allow you to product change without hard pull.   I've seen a few people post that they've converted cashRewards to the Signature Flagship card.

Re: NFCU Members' STARTING CLs

I just opened a NFCU account as well.... for the sole purpose of applying for the nRewards card.  I want nRewards.  It has a low APR.  This doesn't matter that much if you don't carry a balance, but I like rewards cards (can pick either merchandise or cash as rewards).  I have previously switched my USAA cash rewards to USAA rewards because I like collecting points.  I am not going to spend the $10000 requred to get the extra benefit of cash Rewards.  Lastly, the card looks cool.

EX:694 TU:744 EQ:777
Amex ED $19.5k - BoA Travel Rewards $15k - CSP $5k - SDFCU EMV $15k - NFCU goRewards $20k - Barclays Arrival $6.5k
