Thanks to this board I joined my beloved NFCU about 9 months ago. I now use them as my primary banking institution including Direct Deposit. I still have insurance, checking account and a CC at USAA but dont use the checking.
Anyways, I have the goRewards MC with NFCU, I make all my purchases on it and PIF each month other than a small amount I BTed on a promo rate. I want to change it to the cashRewards card since I only use the cash back reward (goRewards is 1% CB on everything and cashRewards is 1.5% CB on everything)
If I ask them to change it will my account age stay the same (on the credit bureaus)? Will it reflect a change via Equifax, TransUnion or Experian or will the change just be internal on NFCU's part?
I dont want to effect my account age and it would not be worth the change to me if that is the case since I have 4 new accounts this year and they all need to age gracefully
Thanks in advance for any input!

Hopefully CA will chime in, but I do know that when you product change the interest rate will also each product line has it's own rate structure.
NO PC won't change the reporting at the credit reports.
and when they put in the change they will tell you if your interest rate will go up or down or stay the same.
I PC'd from an nrewards to a flagship last month.
The account age stayed the same. It's reporting on my credit as the same line.
I ended up doing this PC and my account all reported the same even though I swiched from a (GoRewards) Mastercard to a (Cash Rewards) Visa. Thanks!
congrats!
