NFCU: Two part question!

Can you do a product change with a NFCU credit card and can you cobine your credit limits with cards you have?

If you do a product change with NFCU, say from the Platinum to the CashRewards card, do they issue an all new credit card number?  Or do you get to keep the credit card number?

When I changed my cards I was given another credit card number and new card.
