Re: NFCU soft pull?

@ridgebackpilot  , call any other credit card lender, ask a CSR a question, then HUCA and ask 5 moreSmiley Wink. Id bet by the end, that first question  was  "How average is Average Joe on an average Tuesday "Smiley Wink

As good as many csrs are, for some odd reason, they arent always on same page

It's very easy to explain why they aren't on the same page. Because they're always the last to be told when things change. I can't tell you how many times a customer was the one to inform me that something changed or a new sale started. Smiley Frustrated

I wish they would put more emphasis on the front line. One always comes away feeling better when a CSR can handle your prob in one shotSmiley Happy

Re: NFCU soft pull?

Say I want to initiate a CLI from the app. The last "warning" line before clicking the submit button basically says they may check consumer reporting agencies. Does this automatically mean they're going right to HP, or just warning you that they may do a HP. I have a 25k CL on a Platinum card, and wanted to ask for the full $25k CLI just for giggles to raise my DTL. Income is about 150k a year so shouldn't be an issue with that.

Re: NFCU soft pull?

I plan on applying to Flagship Rewards and requesting a CLI for my existing Navy card. Does it matter which order I do this?

I applied for a Flagship and a Platinum CLI,

Did the Flagship first .. Instant approval!  $22K (New Card)

As soon as approved, asked for Platinum CLI , was granted $8K within about an hour.

Raised from $15K to >>> $23K

I am not sure it matters, although @AverageJoesCredit , suggested how to do it, I forgotSmiley Tongue

Apply for the CLI first and wait for the results before you apply for the card otherwise you can get pushed to maximum exposure on a new card and be declined a CLI.

Thanks for that @Anonymous , I am pretty sure that is what @AverageJoesCredit told me.

Re: NFCU soft pull?

Will I be notified if it will be a soft or hard pull of I request online? Or, is it just a roll of the dice?
