Navy will take care of you. ![]()

I was in law school so I was only making 30K a year plus my wife was a teacher making 39K and I got 25K. My scores were lower than yours (high 600's - low 700s). When I graduated and made more money they boosted me up to 50K. I'd be surprised if you didn't get 3k (depending on your income).

What happened did you ever apply for NFCU? Were you approved?
ive heard they approve people if your above 600...

They'll approve people in the 500s.

I love them. They just financed out new Jeep at 2.99% super easy.

Not as picky as Chase. With Navy, things could go anyway but your luck would be you need a card with 3 k and and they give you 15-25k haha. Joking but not, it has happened. Navy is amazing but some people just hit the lottery when apping credit cards with them. I've seen low scores get high limits low apr, while good scores gets low limits high apr. But for sure Navy treats us right. Good luck but I think it's safe to apply worse that happens is a hp and no but eventually they give up the ghost

AJC is so right. And, with your scores, I doubt if you will have any problems getting approved. Matter-of-the-fact, many have applied for CCs the same day they opened their NFCU account and gotten approved.
And if your SL is less than the $3K you're looking for, don't fret, just wait a measly 3 statement cuts and 91 days, and hit the luv button. You'll be amazed at NFCU's generosity.
