So I just talked with NationwideBank about getting a CLI on the VISA I am an AU on and the response of the rep was that NWB does not do CLI's nor is there a way in their systems to request it or give it to a customer.
I requested further clarrification and was confirmed that they don't do consumer initiated CLI's nor do they give CLI's based on internal review of a customer. The limit you get when you apply is the limit you stay with till whenever they change this policy. So basically you could do all kinds of spending/PIF'ing but you won't get a CLI: zilch, nada, nothing, sifr, xejn, אֶ֫פֶס, nocht, anyway you can think of saying 0!!
Thought I'ld share. Let me know if you have experienced differently.

WOW, that is terrible! I have my car and home insurance through them and had thought about applying for this card but definitely won't do that now!

Interesting. They sent my Mother a mailer pre-approving her for $25,000 at 11.24%.
@SpaceInvader wrote:yeah they had sent my wife a pre-approval for "upto" 15K hence that is why we app'ed.
