Nationwide credit card sold to Merrick???

I REALLY thought that Capital One was going to buy them up...

Got the notice today, Merrick is buying out Nationwide credit cards.

Yep, me too.  Long, long ago, I had a Merrick account when I was rebuilding, and other than the fact that they had an annual fee, I didn't have any problems with them.  I seem to recall that they also auto CLI'd me at some point.  I'm actually kind of glad that it didn't go to Capital One...I already have too many accounts that started elsewhere that are now Cap One.  I would've liked to see Huntington gobble them up.
