thats what happened to me. i initially asked for a cli at activation; they denied me. fast foward 3 months then last week i once more requested cli, approved 4k.
I called customer service to ask for the CLI and it guided me all the way through the automated system and then told me at the end that they don't allow CLI until the acount is at least 60 days old. You were right Insyder! I did transfer to a CSR and asked about reallocating some from my Blue Cash and they said they no longer did that but they were working on it again and it might be a choice available on the website soon... for what that's worth ... This card will definitely get a lot of usage so I'll keep my fingers crossed until March 5. Thanks
@CHARGE wrote:FINALLY!!! It's here! My True Earnings Card from Costco and American Express ... So exciting. I know I mentioned this already, but I would definitely app in store if I were going to do it again. I applied online on 1/1/11 and it just now showed up in my mailbox. I haven't called about a credit line increase yet but I'll try and get around to that this afternoon. It's a nice looking card too. Who's up next?
Well, I can offer an advantage in NOT applying in store: you won't have the hideous Costco ID photo on your AmEx card.

What??? You don't have your photo on your card hauling? When I applied for the True Earning card over the internet, they slap my 3-4 year old costco picture on it.
WRONG! I was at my parents house last night comparing how heinous my picture is on this card compared to their pictures for their Sam's Club cards ... I won! By a landslide. Love the card but that pic ...

No, I do have my photo, alas.
Well, it's somebody's picture, anyway.
So it's on Costco's intranet, huh? I should have known that there was no escape from that one.
No one checks the photos when I shop at BJs, Sam's Club or Costco, so why do they put the hideous picture on the card?
....why did I have to pull this thread up and read it??? and now I want the card even more!! MAKE IT STOP!!
