Guess it goes to show you anyone can be declined. That sucks. (90k in available credit is impressive though!)

She's only added 3 cards since August of last year.

I guess we should have seen it coming with the declining amounts of approval, lol. Just goes to show you that score and history isn't everything. ![]()

Declined with 815 EX FICO, Letter will say why. Who's got a good recon number?
I am really sorry to hear that your mother was declined Nixon!
Especially b/c she has a near-perfect score, at the 815 EX FICO!
J/w, did they give her a reason for the denial?
Again sorry to hear about the denial, and really hope that FNBO will be good and generous to your mother for her recon request my friend!

No reason until letter arrived. It kinda blindsided me until I thought about it more. She doesn't really care about a huge CL or anything either. She just loves low rate cards. ![]()

And she doesn't have Ring?
Has no need for it. It would be in the middle of the road for low APR's for her, No stable rewards system.
This specific FNBO card would have been quite a boon for her low APR card portfolio.

Hopefully it's not still too late though, if she can get a successful recon? Quick question/idea for you please, when you recon: does your mother also have any substantial investment or savings accounts? The only reason I ask is just b/c, on my app for the FNBO Amex, I had also put down the $53k I had in my investment account in the field the application had for that, which may have been one of the additional reasons I was approved. Anyway, just a possible thought that you may want to have you and your mother mention, when you call for the FNBO Amex recon?
Good luck & best wishes to your mother being approved on the recon, I am definitely rooting for you guys! ![]()

That was a pretty quick answer after they said 10-14 days...mine is still pending, did they email you and say it was denied or did you have to check the status page to see the answer
Email said it had a response. Checked and it was declined.
