They also pull IDA/ARS, which track all Mastercard and Visa applications. So, I don't know if she's applied for more than just those two things or not, but that could be it. I was recently approved with about 23 Experian inquiries and probably ten in the last twelve months.

In the last year she's applied for
Wells Fargo VS
CSP
US Airways
3 cards.

Nixon: I found this number on the backdoor numbers thread, is it possible that this might still be a viable number for the Barclays EO? (They refer to it in the thread as a "corporate office"?) Can you try appealing to them maybe?

Ah, I am truly sorry, my friend... Is there no hope at all, of recon for your dear mother at this point, then?
(Please say it ain't so?)
@galahad15 wrote:Also, just some more possible food for thought -- is there a reason why you think FNBO may have decided to make this a time-limited offer, rather than expanding it more broadly, or making it a permanent part of its credit card portfolio? If you really think about it for a sec, by making this a permanent product, they could potentially totally crush their competition in the credit card rewards field, so to speak....especially b/c no one else really has anything close to this competitive level of low APR rewards card, coupled with this generous level of rewards...
Maybe it is a test offer to see how many people respond, get credit data on people who apply, etc. Has been done before.

We will probably know more monday. Hopefully they come to their senses.

For 2 EX inquiries over the last 2 years... This makes a ton of sense, doesn't it...
I'm gonna call BS on that decision. I was approved WITH 2 EX inquiries (1 inq 7/13, 1 inq 4/14). That makes no sense that they'd approve me with a lower score, and not your mom!
