Newegg Preffered Account change of terms?

Anybody got the email that Newegg Preferred Account Bill Me Later will be changed to Paypal Credit??

Does this mean that Bill me later will now report all the payments to all CRA just like any other credit cards??

I got the email for my BML account. I didn't read anything in it that made me think that they were now going to report to the CRAs. What did you read that made you think that?

I concur.  It looked like just a name change but no account changes and I take that to mean no account feature changes... we will see soon enough.  Maybe it is re-branding so Ebay can follow the footsteps of GE and spin out their credit business if Sycrony is a success.

Re: Newegg Preffered Account change of terms?

I got that email too about my regular BML account.

I don't think this will change from being a hidden TL.  But i wonder if it's an indication of where PayPal may be taking its future credit business?

Re: Newegg Preffered Account change of terms?

Hey guys I have a question. I just signed up for the Newegg.com Preferred Account, but it said it was powered by "Bill Me Later" or something like that. So my question is, is this a Bill Me Later account or is this just for Newegg.com? Here is what the email said.. Congratulations on becoming a Newegg.com Preferred Account customer. Your credit
line of $2,000.00 is available now for purchases from Newegg.com. In addition to the great benefits of your Newegg.com Preferred Account...
you can also have access to the Bill Me Later® network of merchants. TIA. guys.
