No way to get EMV on either CapOne card?!

You have a Venture One in your signature so skip the chat. Simply log into your online account, go to services and click " request replacement card." From there, select "card damaged, not working." They should mail you the new one with the EMV. The rep was clearly misinformed or didn't know what he was talking about.

Seriously? I called and was unsuccessful in requesting a chip card. For what it's worth, www.capitalone.com/credit-cards/rewards only shows the Venture and Venture One as chip cards.

I love Good news! Capital One chip cards will be Chip and Signature cards, so there’s no additional PIN to remember.

I would have preferred the other way, just like Cap One in the UK, but obviously not.

I don't understand why they went with chips and signature mode. maybe they think we're so dumb that we can't possibley keep up with all the pin numbers we get from our cards.BUT they still give you a pin number for cash advance. so just in case if any of you guys traveling to place where they got those dmv reader machines, watch out, if they ask for your pin number, you could get cash advance rather than normal transaction.

man, i have to say, i didnt see this coming lol, i have two venture cards and spark miles, i'll sent em a SM to see if all can be replaced with EMV.
