I signed up to opt out a year ago.
Can i opt back in just ot see if I get any offers?
Are there any risks of opting in? And can I opt out anytime?

It's no problem AFAIK opting in and out as often as you like.
From a BK years ago to:

What would you suggest?
Does opting in mean you need to remove your bureau freezes in order to receive pre-approvals?

I'm not at all sure about that so I will defer to someone else. I don't want to give the wrong answer.

I'd go ahead and opt back in if you're interested in getting those offers.

I just did this recently as in the past couple of days ... I opt'd out of pre-screened offers 2 years ago and just decided to opt back in .. I haven't noticed a difference in score or anything which I doubt it would affect ... Just wanted to see some offers mailed to me lol lol ..
I recently opted back in (few weeks ago) hoping to see Pre-approvals from USAA, PenFed and Amex. Got USAA but ended up with a ton of junk mail from Citi on some card I have no use for.
I'll probably opt back out now. There aren't any ghosts out there but no cards that really float my boat. Unless PenFed offers me the Gas card and BT offer, I'm done with new credit cards. I don't want an Amex Charge card until next year when I have to travel some.
My guess is it takes a while before anything stunning shows up. "Stunning" probably depends more on where you're at in the credit journey. A few years ago the Cit offer would have been encouraging and immediately applied for, LOL!
I'm opted out, I do not want anyone but my CURRENT creditors having access to my personal info (limited as it it with being opted in) but I still don't want all those softs from other creditors, insurance companies etc.............looking at my reports. (again I mean the limited info they see).
I opted in a long while back, and started receiving tons of offers from insurance companies, some CCC's and noticed a lot of softs on my credit reports, I did not like that, so I opted back out.
Y'all convinced me that staying opt-out is better. I really dont want my info being sold left and right and as mustang said 'Tons of soft pulls'
