Re: Opting 'In'

I opted back out.

I hope it doesn't limit offers from USAA. It shouldn't because I already have an existing relationship but you know how we get with crap like that, LOL!

Re: Opting 'In'

In a galaxy far, far away (ok...before I found this board), I was unknowingly "opted in" and everyday my mailbox was flooded with junk mail from every insurance company known to man and I received nothing but FAKO credit card offers from the shadiest of companies.  I then found this board, "opted-out", learned how to correct and manage my credit and now I have the cards that I want (AmEx, Discover and Barclays) because I applied for them.  Now I come home everyday to a clean mailbox.  I could care less about receiving credit card offers and I don't need any company to tell me when they think I'm good enough.

Re: Opting 'In'

I opted back in a few months ago after being opted out for about 2 years. Was hoping to score some credit card offers, but so far I've got nothing! My scores aren't too shabby either, so this is fairly disappointing.

My first time opting in, the minute I get too many insurance offers, I'm opting out.

Re: Opting 'In'

I have been opted out for a long time and don't even consider opting in again. I prefer to get my info from this forum and apping to what I want. I like using my shredder only occasionally.

Re: Opting 'In'

i have no intentions of ever opting out until i know have finished building my credit card profile. i personally enjoy seeing who wants to send me their junk. its no big deal, it goes right into the recycling bin.
