I'd appreciate it if someone could post a link on how to "opt out" and "opt in".  Thanks so much in advance!

I'm opted out and staying out.  The insurance junk mail is too much, and the short time I was opted in, I got no great cc offers.

One of the options available is to fill out and mail in a hard copy request that is supposed to be permanent.

Its been a few weeks now since I "opted out" -- and it looks like EVERYONE got the word.  I have not had any mail, of any kind, from anyone, last week or this week. Smiley Indifferent

You will probably still get some residual offers, from creditors that did get your info while you were opted in, I still get offers from this Insurance Company, and I've been opted out for over 7 months IIRC.

 

I have also froze all my reports since my first reply in this thread.
