PENFED and ChexSystems?

I believe that my  report is clean but I am waiting for it in the mail. Just curious if this is even important or not when applying as a new member to the credit union.

I have no idea about whether PenFed uses ChexSystems. But I requested my ChexSystems report and it said it would be in the mail within 2 weeks but  I never got anything. That was a month or two ago. I assume no news is good news? Also, I was accepted into PenFed but since I don't have my ChexSystems report, that doesn't mean anything. 

Starting Score (07/2011): EQ 706 TU 709
Current Score (6/2013): EQ 740 TU 732 EX 740
Goal Score: 750+ on all 3
