Where is WatchMojo when you need them
But think about the noisy traffic that would create:
"I disagree with the entire list"
"I can't BELIEVE they left off...."
"Number 3 wasn't sad at all, the idiots misunderstood"
etc etc
So, good idea actually!
26+M subscribers on youtube, perhaps even more than MyFico. inquiries@watchmojo.com
You just described just about every thread

@Anonymous wrote:So now I will actually have to calculate how to pay my FiOS bill! PPK attached to MaxCash was ideal.
ETA: OK, going with the very unexciting Paypal Business Debit, which may or may not pay 1% on the transaction. My FiOS bill is small enough that the autopay discount is more than the 5% on MaxCash (so it doesn't matter whether I get the 1% or not). For those with large wireless bills it might be different (although auto pay is per line), this may push more to consider the Verizon card.
If your autopay discount wasn't more than 5%, you could use PayPal Bill Pay with your MaxCash as the funding source! PayPal Bill Pay is different than PPK but should still give 5% as long as the payee is available.

Thanks for the heads-up on the PP Bill Pay, @Anonymous... for my purposes (maxing out Freedom/Discover PP quarters) this might come in handy.
Heck, depending on what MCCs are passed along it might even be useful for Cash+ on a couple of things. Testing to follow...
Very interested in this since I just got USB Cash+
I never even got to try it out... 😢
I did some poking around Paypal Bill Pay last night... this might be interesting to those who were using PPK for their Verizon Wireless Bill...
I use Verizon Prepaid so this doesn't apply to me, but I'm thinking that if one were to setup autopay (to trigger the autopay discount) they could still pay their bill a few days early via Paypal to take advantage of PP quarters on Freedom/Disco, and depending on the MCC that is passed maybe even the cell phone category on the U.S. Bank Cash+.
I do something similar with my Verizon Prepaid account; I have autopay setup for the discount, but I always have a credit balance on my Verizon account due to buying refills for a discount in advance. In my case, it's the best of both worlds.
Obviously some testing would need to be done... 🤔

SInce it wouldn't take my FiOS info (I don't have an actual billing zip) I tried it with eversource(nee NSTAR) which a number of us Bostonville pay using their prrocessor Speedpay ($602.50 prepay, 2.50 fee on up to $600). But... no info about fees on the paypal site. Some other sites who use the same processor talk about 1.75%
But..... As a big-time gambler (kids, don't try this at home!) I tried a $5 on Paypal Billpay. My Cash+ was charged just $5. Next step is to see if the whole $5 gets credited (what WILL eversource do with all that money!) but I assume that it will. If so, this will allow us to save $2.50 a few times a year. FREE MONEY. Thanks for pointing this out @Anonymous
It was nice to be able to have 1 card number that I could use everywhere. This is dissapointing.

Umm, if you could keep us in the loop with a "@" on this?
Would be appreciated.

I made a $10 payment to the propane company for the same purpose, also using the Cash+. Depending on the MCC that's passed on it could trigger the 5% category, although I'm not betting on it.
As long as the payment 'works' this method will still be useful during the Paypal quarters on Freedom/Disco.

Right, waiting for it to post to check the MCC. I agree it can be useful for Freedom quarters, but there is no ability to add new merchants, so harder to use than PPK, so still a big loss (going for the top 5 saddest now!)
I can not personally endorse any of the following. There maybe pitfalls that I don't know about. I never tried these myself. You usually need a debit card to pay rent on line to avoid exorbitant credit card fees. That is what made PPK valuable.
Possible solutions:
Andomoney.com : Unlimited 1.5% cash back with every Ando Visa® Debit Card purchase!
Affinity FCU 1% cash back debit card on $1000 spend
Article about cash back debit cards.
PSA NOTE: Axos only gives cash back on signatures transactions. This makes them useless for on line ordering.
Article reviewing virtual debit / credit cards.
Another giftcard provider: Awards2go.net up to $1000
NOTE: I could find any mention of their shipping fees or per card fee.
Another fintech2:
Jiko Debit Cards: Unlimited 1%.
Enzo debit card: earn 2% cash back on rent.
