The more I read the more Amazon Visa seems like the way to go to get my feet wet with Credit again. My family has had an Amazon account for 2 years or so and we all buy everything on it. So if I simply apply through that account which is in good standing. I'd imagine/hope that as a long-standing customer that would contribute to any decision making process.

Are you an AU on it?

Re: PayPal Visa / Amazon Visa

Every single time I check out it shows me how much my order would cost with the $30 credit and tells me to apply now. I'm still going to wait until my credit looks good/better next month, if I can get a $5k line that would be great. I/we can spend $500 a month there and pay it off each month, that way I don't even change spending habits but generate a credit history. MAN I wish I knew this all as a teenager!

Hmm, well it is my 'name' on the account and my address, but my parents Amex is the payment method used. I don't see any AUs on Amazon at all.

I think paypal credit card is issued by GEMB. They are very stingy with CL. I have paypal account for last 7 years and GEMB did not give good CL. They pulled EQ for me. I should not have wasted an Hard for this card.
