Penfed CLI question

Some basic info

Current EQ Fico8  720

Current EQ Fico9  745ish

1 Baddie an unpaid CO due to fall off my EQ in April maybe earlier

I have a PowerCash card opened 4/2017

Today is the first day Ive been offered a CLI or a new Promise card.

The CLI would almost double my $3500 limit

The question

If I wait til the CO falls of my EQ, my score should jump to around 800 (Fico8) like TU did. Should I wait to accept any CLI until my score jumps hoping I will get a bigger offer?  How often do you get SP offers from Penfed? Should I take the offer now and wait for the next offer for a bigger bump?

Unfortunately, your score will not determine the amount of CLI you will receive. They will look into how you've been using your card. I can't get my BoA cards up any higher due to low usage. I say, go for it and hope for the best. Good luck !!!

MM, if you are even getting offers, feel blessed. Many of us do not regardless how good are score is. Id take what is offered, youll probably continue to get offers in the future as it seems PF likes you

Called Penfed and spoke with a CSR. I asked if I took the offer for a CLI would there be a HP or SP or no pull. He answered HP but its a guaranteed result.  I declined

Thats weird indeed. I thought Pf offers were sp. Hey Gmood, where you at brother? Looks like another dp that Pf is tightening up. I guess 1 more reason im liking Pf less and less. Shame too as i have branch near my home, relatively haha.

UPDATE 2.0

OK, called back and spoke with another CSR who insisted that this CLI would be a SP.He volunteered to do the CLI personally to insure it was a SP so I said, okie dokie.

CL $3500  --->  $6600  Almost doubled my SL 

Joe, if there is anyone NOT getting offers, its me. I dont get ANY mail for new credit cards. Example, I have 2 12+ year old accounts with Cap1 with spotless history. No letters no emails no robo calls. NUTTIN.  I had 2 mortgages with BoA both PIF and I dont even get a calander from them let alone a solicitation letter. Personally I think that somehow Im flagged as opping out but everyone who looks at my file says Im not. 

Back on point, It looks like the CLI is a SP.

Hey congrats on your SP CLI Mean! They must really like you cuz I don’t get any pre-approved offers from them other than the Personal Loan Check they’ve sent me. My EQ9 is at 758 on their last pull. Granting I joined dirty last 02/2017 and still has BK7 on file but still no offers of any kind!
Planning to hit them up for a HP CLI next month though after I app for the Citi DC.
