Different bank, but similiar situation...when I read a thread on here about VS preapprovals...I went online...did some shopping...was preapproved at check out, and accepted their offer...new account did show up...no inquiry ever showed...
This is the first I've heard about GE doing it tho...

Yes, I have the Discover Card Credit Monitoring and I pulled the report this afternoon, no Walmart Inquiry! I still won't fully feel in the clear until tomorrow! If I get no Alerts tomorrow...than I may have dodged the Credit Inquiry Bullet! LOL!!!!!!!
