I searched and found lots of different spreadsheets, but none that dealt with promotional balances. Anyone have something I can use to help keep better track of my promotional balances? I have two with 0% BTs on them, and then my HD card with several 0% promos ending at various times. I'm trying to figure out the best way to attack all of this debt, yet still make sure everything gets paid up before the various promo periods end to avoid the interest and now my head is spinning ![]()
I think I found an easy way to get these promo rates all lined up for payoff at 0%. I used the snowball calculator at WhatsTheCost, and entered each with interest rates at 1% increments with the first promo expiration at the highest and the last to expire at the lowest ![]()
I would still like to find a spreadsheet, rather than an online calculator, but this works for now!
try this: http://www.vertex42.com/Calculators/debt-reduction-calculator.html
hope this works for ya. This site also has great other excel spreadsheets for many diff categories, i use it quite often.

These are the column headers I curently use for my spreadsheet. I'm sure it can be fine tuned, but it's currently working.
The top cell for Column A gives me a running total of my total credit. I use the rest of the cells in that column, to identify each of the various CCs.
=sum(J:J) | Promo APR | Promo End | APR | Contact # | Date Opened | Last CLI Date | CLI Frequency | Last CLI Amount | Credit Limit | Closing Date | Due Date | Auto-Pay Date | Pay Source |
For Example:
Chase Slate | 0 | Sep 1, 2014 | 11.99 | 800-945-2000 | Jun 5, 2013 | n/a | n/a | n/a | $x,xxx | 4 | 1 | n/a | One of my Credit Unions |
