Only con as stated above is Annual fee. But they will eat the annual fee if you email or call Cap1 EO.
Also you can pc the card to the QS once your credit line hits 3k or 5k through EO.
I've had the QS1 for a little over a year now and I've been very happy with it. I made some mistakes in the past, and had a pretty shoddy score, but they took me on and started me out with a $300 limit. I was supposed to get Credit Steps'd to $500 after 5 months, but they shocked me when they bumped me up to $2300.
As others have said, the only downside is the annual fee.

Are you sure you have to be at a $3000+ limit to get a PC to regular QS? I'll have my Freedom card paid off around October-November time (still well within intro APR) and I was thinking of asking for a CLI and PC to regular QS around that time. At that time, I'll have had the card for about 1 1/2 years and it will have been PIF every month for about 6 months.

is it a quicksilver one that you applied at capital one? or was it from a different bank and bought by capital one?

Pro? It isn't Credit One. Con. It still has an annual fee. CLI's come with spend and responsible use.
I think Cap 1 is a good card and the QS1 is good value.
My co-worker got the card with a $3K limit last month and she just requested and was approved to the regular QS card. Not sure if it will be the World Card or not. She is going to wait another month before requesting a CL increase.

I will report as soon as I find out. I just requested my QS1 to become a QS with no annual fee.
I was told two different things when I asked about what the credit line had to be to PC it to QS, 3k from one person and 5k from another person, both from EO.
The minimum credit line for a Quicksilver Card is $3K. $5K is the minimum for the Visa Signature version of the Quicksilver Card. That is the required minimum set by Visa for a Signature Card product.

So if I PC my Cap1 platinum card to a Quicksilver will they up my limit to $3k or will they deny me?
