Question about CSP App

Wife and I have both been working on our credit quite a bit over the past 14 months and it has paid off big time. We close on our first house next week. We have been avoiding applying for new credit for past few months until after house closes and some good offers have been making that difficult. She recieved a mail offer for Chase Sapphire Preferred which has been a target for awhile so planning to apply after we close next week.

My question is the mailer offers bonus of 40k but website offers 50k. Would using one or the other have any effect on chance of approval or starting CL.? I would like the 50k bonus but also want to get highest limit possible. Does it make a difference which offer we use?

Currently Wife has-

Freedom- $6600 CL

Discover IT $16,900

Venture $15,750

etc

Hoping for a CL similar to Discover or Venture.

Thanks!

Re: Question about CSP App

Check the online pre-approval and if it gives you the card apply

The other good news is Chase will honor current promos if she uses the mail offer

Congrats on the new home

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

IMO, I would do the one online for 50K.  Do the pre-qualification online 1st though since I'm pretty sure it will pop-up.  If the CSP shows as one of those as pre-approved, then just submit it that way to get the 50K.  Congrats on the new home btw!

Wait a little longer, after your house closed they are going to bombard you with a lot of CC offers. You will be approved for pretty much anything you want.

No.  The sign up offer does not change one's credit profile or income.
