Hi all,
My husband and I are interested in becoming NFCU members and applying for a joint credit account. The only problem is, I have a tax lien on my credit that I am on a payment plan for (roughly $5k). Will this kill our chances at aproval? My husband's score on MyFICO is sitting at 592, but we are waiting another 4 weeks to apply to allow some things to be deleted that were disputed and confirmed to be deleted. I am hoping he will see a bump after that. We have no revolving credit, but he has a auto loan that has never been late, and a student loan that is current. What CRA do they pull? TU is his worst right now because of 2 medical bills not reporting to EQ or EX. He also has a ton of inq's on EQ because of car shopping that will hit 1 year in June which worry me as well. I reeeeeaaallly don't want to take the HP for no reason... any thoughts on chances for approval?
