Question on filling out a CC application

I am filling out a CC app for a CU. Through my employer I have medical ins in which I paid around 4K for last year. This is pre tax. Since this is pre tax can I include this 4K in my income or not? If I could it would boost my income some.

I always include it -- it's money earned.  I've never considered NOT including it.

I would include it since it is part of the gross income which is what most companies look at.

You earned it, you just decided to spend it on preventing yourself from croaking - definitely include it!
