I just checked my cap one platinum card and saw I received an increse from $300 to $500...I am not at all happy with this amount especially since they told me I would be getting an increse in Feb for credit steps due to an issue with a payment that was ON TIME...they made me wait 3 more months.
Has anyone successfully recon'd a credit steps CLI?

I am a bit confused...you got a CLI from 300 to 500 which is almost double and you mention in February and you got it in January already ![]()
With credit steps they would have sent you a letter stating the increase as long as you keep the terms. The letter should be in your "Statements & Documents".
if your UTL was high, or is high on other accounts, that might make sense. They say that you can get "up to X" amount, which is all I got personally, cause my UTL was high. Other people like your wife got a lot more, but her account usage and credit history might be different. There isn't a lot you can do as the account is still new.

+1
The key word being keeping with the terms and conditions of the offer including ontime payment history.
