I applied for a Best Buy credit card and was offered the reward zone card with a $39.00 annual fee but it did not say what the credit limit would be. I declined but if I knew the credit line I might accept. Can someone from best buy check this?
Thank You.
You can call in and ask what the CL would be, not sure though once you decline it... but usually $300 is very typical especially if you are getting the annual fee version.

Did you get counter offered the Reward Zone card or did you actually get approved for a Best Buy card?
If you were countered the RZ card I think you should have taken it, especially if you are in the rebuilding stage and, since you already took the hard for it. I know nothing about this card and if it can/will grow with you, but like I said if you are in the rebuilding stage it would have probably been a good idea to accept it.
I know AF's stink, but if you're working on rebuilding your credit, it's the price we all have had to pay on our way back to good credit.
Do you know your FICOS?

I agree, You were countered based on credit so if you are rebuilding this card works pretty good for that... it won't grow with you but maybe next year you can get the store card and close this MC and move onto more prime stuff.
Hello, thank you for the replies. Yes this was a counter offer and I declined a little to hastily! I was doing some online shopping at the time and was in a hurry. Guess I shouldn't try to do too many things at once.
Anyway it wasn't so much the fee that bothered me as the fact they didn't say what the credit limit would be. I was thinking well- if I accept and they give me something like $100.00 credit line minus the annual fee then the card is really not worth it and I would be paying for a card for nothing.
I did send them an email regarding this but the only response I got was something to the effect that they would get back to me but would probably take longer than usual due to holiday?
Oh and yes, I do know my FICO and didn't think it was horrible @ 656 but learning!
