This is great news...an 8K MC with the 5/3/1 structure sounds really good.  Especially since I got REALLY spoiled with the 5% cashback at gas stations from my Freedom.  Thanks pizza!

No.  Nothing is new.  Only selected members will be upgraded.  No changes.  I repeated the question.  Tried to clarify. Asked for supervisor. Same answer.

I believe there is still hope as not everyone gets informed of things. I am going to keep calling. I still believe pizza1. These reps arent all on board yet.

Call#2

145,000 cardholders are being converted to mastercard.  This is a new transition as of August 2015.  We will still continue to offer the PLCC store card.  

When I asked if the above cardholders had upgrade offers or if it was automatic, she said its automatic, they did not have the option to say no.... ok time to keep calling.

Call #3  same answer as call #2, when rep consulted with supervisor: 

We are still going to have the PLCC cards 100%.

I have to take a deep breath, and just hope most of these guys dont know whats up yet because its so new.

This seems accurate.   Since Sam's Club and Walmart have contracted for both PLCCs and bankcards with Sync, it seems odd that they'd change contract terms suddenly and for no apparent reason.  Most likely, they're doing a massive upgrade offer.   Now if Wally would just start back up with their offers...

I asked her today when Walmart did their last offer to upgrade and she said it was back in July, and that they probably won't do it again this year

Awe. Oh well. 

I would certainly use the mc version if I had it, for gas and transportation ...but definitely not in club!
