You can apply for multiple cards with Cap1.   They actually seem to like it that way......Cat Tongue

Any new application with them will be a hard pull x3 though.

Cap1 will pull all three CRAs with an application, so you would be getting a hard pull on EX, EQ and TU.

Re: Secured on unsecured

Yeah, I just asked a CSR yesterday about this (for future plans). I asked if my secured graduated to an unsecured and he said "no, but you are welcome to apply for a 2nd, unsecured card in the future."

Starting Score: EQ = 550; TU = 491(2/10/12)
Current Score: EQ = 669; TU = 674(6/20/14)
Goal Score: 700+

How long has your Cap1 card been opened, and what is your overall length of credit history ?

Re: Secured on unsecured

I've had a Capital One CC since January of this year. As far as credit history I have an auto loan that I
In June of this year will be 2 years. Also have a secured loan with bank, going on 9 months with that. Never been late on any of these payments.

Your better off gardening your new account for at least 6 months to a year before apping for another card.
