Re: Shocked Discover BT offer back??

This is really odd.. I swear i had different offers this morning....

Now Its 12 mo at 0% with 4% fee

or 15 mo at 5.99% with 0 fee

The 4% is tolerable.. but will it let me send it to checking?. Last time Miss Disco wouldnt let me send it to checking.. just to another account.

Only way to find out is to start the process and see if it gives you the option.  Personal experience it only let me send it to accounts I paid substantial amounts from.  It wouldn't add an account that I only paid a few bucks here and there.  However there is (or was) an indication that if your account isn't listed, to call in to do it.  Also know you can't (or couldn't) have an account removed.

Been a few months since I've had an offer and inquired about why some accounts were showing and others weren't.

If you can earn 5%  cash back using their rotating cats,  in my opinion its a very good card because that cash back is in your account at end of statement and very easy to use ie statement credit or straight to your checking.  For those of us who cant get those other lenders, its still a worthwhile lender imhoSmiley Wink

+1

I'd even go as far and use them for 1% here and there because of their 24/7/365 US based customer service.  They're #1 in my books, shortly followed by NFCU.  For me the quality and availability of a companies CS is KING.

I squeezed 13 month 0% promo from them. Gonna park a few things and pay them off as if it was a BT

Had they given me a BT offer, they would at least make money on BT fee.

This time, the joke is not on me.

That's what I plan on doing.  Got that promo a few months back on my first card.  Figured I could do that or PP my brother using the card at a 2.9% + .30 fee and it'd be the same as BT to my account, except cost me less money.  Robot LOL

Ill never see another bt offer but ill smash until i at least see an AJC Special . Then i can combine them and maybe make a play at a new card with a 0% apr or bt. It wont be easy, my letters are building up everyday and my shredder wants something different to eatSmiley Wink
