You could use the same inquiry and app a second Chase card right now. Do you travel?

Re: Store Cards and Credit to Debt Ratio Help

Strike while the iron is hot! Try a Capital One Quicksilver One card - if you qualified for a Chase card, you're pretty much guaranteed a CapOne card.

Then get in the garden and let your AAOA mature, and your hard inquiries fall off. In 6-12 months, you'll have a decent enough credit profile to qualify for an AMEX or Discover.

I'd say go for the Quicksilver outright or Journey. QS1 is for the birds.

Re: Store Cards and Credit to Debt Ratio Help

Yes, I do travel quite a bit for business. Does Chase have a business travel card? Also regarding the Quicksilver card from Cap One about 6 years ago I had one and unfortunately lost it.. so they are not approving me anytime soon unfortunately. Truth be told.

You guys are really the best, The online community here is probably one of the best support groups I have ever scene.  Thank you All and I hope everybody has a great weekend.

Congratulations.  I have been on the board for 3-4 months and this is the first time I think I actually helped someone. Smiley Happy
